Day 13

After the class, everyone stayed back to discuss on their respectively projects as the deadline for the presentation is approaching. During the lesson, we did some assignments as well learning a new chapter called cost crashing. Tried a street store selling Sa Ba Rice near the campus. The taste of the rice was rather plain and not as nice as it seems to look.

My Refection

I noticed an unusual sight in Wuhan, this afternoon. This scene is uncommon or in fact, non-existence in Singapore. Just want to highlight that despite how impoverished those China families are, they still have the sense of trust in the people. I was buying from a street store at Jian She Er Lu and they actually trust their customers to make their payment by putting in their RMB inside a small container. As a matter of fact, even if you required changes for your large notes, you can simply dig inside the container and withdraw your supposed change amount. Most importantly, the boss does not bother to check whether do you shortchange or steal money from him which leads to his great respect of being a honest man.
