Day 32

Went to find Miss Neo to clarify with the doubts that we have about our projects first thing in the morning. As today is free and easy, did some project work before having our lunch at the back street. At around 2pm, we took bus 702 to Guang Gu Guang Chang. The guys(me, ron and daryl) decided to separate from the girls as we wanted to find guys stuffs. The place is packed with people, due to their 3 days of qing ming holiday. We walked around the mall to kill time and we saw a shop selling chicken rice! The food tempted me a lot as I really miss Singapore food. However, I decided against it as I was quite full that time. While we were waiting for our bus home, we witness a quarreling between a guy selling pineapple and a woman for unknown reason. Well, why do the people there like to quarrel so much? :P

The people quarreling

My Reflection

In China, I saw an extraordinary large amount of stray dogs and there is absolutely no animal control over here in Wuhan because people can just keep all these dogs as their own pet and dump these poor fellas whenever they like. To own a small puppy in China is really cheap and low price to get a healthy breed of dog. Hence, there is an overcrowding of the stray animal's population in China which you can see it anywhere if you are in the country. To the most of my knowledge through extensive research, there is an animal-control organisation in China which is founded and run by Chinese native people called the Chinese Animal Protection Network (CAPN) which is a non-profitable organisation which views animal rights as their philosophy. However, this organisation has yet to expand to every part of China without much financial aids from the government body and hence, not all provinces and states can benefit from the creation of this organisation. There are actually many restaurants all over Wuhan that specialised in dog. I had never tried those restaurants and does not intend to experience it at all for the rest of lives as I can never bear to eat the meats of my own pet. The truth is that Wuhan is just a small little city which is just a fraction from the massive China, just simply imagine the number of animals being killed daily just for food.
